Indie rock has stretched out enough over the years that plenty of current albums seem to have staying power, but You Say Party! We Say Die!'s Lose All Time isn't one of them. Standing at the intersection of riot grrrl and electroclash, the female-fronted Canadian quintet has packed its second album with lots of danceable beats and inspiration-for-hipsters lyrics ("Oh girls don't know who to be / when they get together" and "They're gonna take our rights away"), but not much else. Songs like the more subdued "Monster" and the even mellower ballad "You're Almost There" make the proceedings a bit more interesting, but for the most part, the band's ho-hum exclamations are only going to impress people who think Yeah Yeah Yeahs are better than The Beatles, and still keep tabs on what Larry Tee is up to.
