Murder Mystery 2 was Netflixs top film title after its March 31 debut. In its first three days of availability, the film took the title for Netflixs second biggest opening weekend for a comedy film with over 42 million views. The sequel starring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston earned 64.42 million hours viewed total during the March 27-April 2 viewing window and also appeared in the Top 10 in 91 countries. The first film in the franchise also joined the list of film titles at No. 2 with 24.7 million hours viewed.
On the English TV side, The Night Agent continued to stay ahead of the competition taking the No. 1 spot for the second week. In its first 11 days of availability, the series was viewed for 216.39 million hours pushing the action-thriller to 385 million total hours viewed in its first two weeks and now has more than 47 million views. (Netflix calculates total views by taking the total hours viewed and dividing that by the shows runtime hours, which in this case was 8.2 hours). The streamer also recently renewed the series for a second season.
Season 4 of Love is Blind also made its way onto the chart, recording 47.64 million hours viewed. The show is sure to stay within the top 10 titles for the next few weeks especially given that Netflix announced the show will be given a live reunion special. The reunion will be streamed from Los Angeles on April 16 at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.
This marks the second live special Netflix has tested out. The first being Chris Rocks Selective Outrage standup special, which quickly opened on Netflixs US chart on the English-language TV list at No. 7 despite a small window of availability. The special eventually landed on Netflixs Global Top 10 chart at No. 8 on the English titles list with 17.79 million hours viewed after nine days of availability.
After last weeks solid performance at No. 2, Shadow and Bone Season 2 dropped to third in its third week on the list with 27 million hours viewed a significant fall from the previous weeks recorded figure of 55.03 million. It comes two places ahead of You Season 4, which picked up 18.22 million hours viewed in its seventh week among the list of Netflixs popular titles. The murder mystery thriller climbed back to No. 1 during the March 6-12 viewing window after the second half of its latest installment premiered on March 9.
Unseen, Emergency: NYC, Wellmania, and Unstable each entered the chart as newcomers this week in fourth, sixth, seventh, and ninth place, respectively. Unseen is a South African TV thriller, which joined the streamer on March 29 and earned 24.32 million hours viewed in its first five days of availability. The series follows a house cleaner desperately in search for her husband as a dreaded criminal syndicate dredges up past tragedies and ultimately drives her to violence.
Emergency: NYC, a docuseries following New York Citys frontline medical professionals as they balance work and their personal lives, managed 18.17 million hours viewed following its March 22 release date. Wellmania, an Australian pick up hailing from creators Brigid Delaney and Benjamin Law, raked in 14.46 million hours viewed in its first five days of streaming.
Rob and John Owen Lowes Unstable made the list with 11.36 million hours viewed within its first four days of availability on the streamer. The comedy follows biotech genius Ellis Dragon (Rob Lowe), who attempts a comeback after spiraling from grief due to the loss of his wife. With help from his uninterested son Jackson (John Owen Lowe), the two work together to save the family business.
Outer Banks Season 3 closed the list with 11.31 million hours viewed in its sixth week among the top 10 English-language TV titles which is a significant fall from the previous weeks measured 16.88 million hours viewed.
