The Walking Dead spinoff centered on Rick and Michonne revealed a host of new information at New York Comic Con on Thursday
The show, officially titled The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, will debut in February 2024 according to a new teaser trailer that can be seen below. New first look photos have also been released, which can likewise be seen below.
Finally, multiple cast members have been confirmed. Pollyanna McIntosh will return as Jadis, a role she originated on The Walking Dead. Terry OQuinn will appear in the role of Beale, while Matt Jeffries will appear as Nat. It was previously announced that Lesley-Ann Brandt will star as Pearl.
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live was officially announced in 2022, with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira returning as Rick and Michonne respectively after both previously starred in the mothership series.
The series is described as an epic love story. The official description states, Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world, built on a war against the dead And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find each other and who they were in a place and situation unlike any theyve ever known before? Are they enemies? Lovers? Victims? Victors?Without each other, are they even alive or will they find that they, too, are the Walking Dead?
Scott M. Gimple, chief content officer of The Walking Dead universe, serves as showrunner and executive producer on the series. Lincoln and Gurira also executive produce along with Denise Huth and Brian Bockrath.
