The Mother continues to lead all of Netflix titles for the second consecutive week with 92 million hours viewed during the May 15-21 viewing window. Thus, pushing the show to hit more than 90 million views. Netflix calculates total views by dividing the total hours watched, (178.1 million hours) by total runtime (1.96 hours).
Spinoffs reigned supreme on the English-Language TV chart. Taking the No. 1 spot on the list is Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, which managed an additional 82.39 million hours viewed. In its third week among the popular titles chart, Shonda Rhimes Georgian era tale also appeared in the Top 10 in 89 countries. Seasons 1 and 2 of Bridgerton also rejoined this weeks rankings at No. 6 and No. 7, respectively, as viewers revisited or discovered the original series. Season 1 of the period drama recorded 19.46 million hours viewed while Season 2 picked up 18.17 million hours viewed.
Coming just beneath is the To All the Boys sequel series, XO, Kitty which opened to 72.08 million hours viewed following its May 18 debut. Starring Anna Cathcart (Kitty Song Covey) and Minyeong Choi (Dae), the YA rom-com had over 14 total views and appeared in the Top 10 in 90 countries.
Selling Sunset Season 6 cracked the chart with a solid opening after its May 19 debut. With new cast members Bre Tiesi and Nicole Young, the reality realtors earned 22.78 million hours viewed in its first three days of availability and took fourth place on the list. Other unscripted titles to make the chart include UFC fighter Conor McGregors documentary McGregor Forever, which earned 20.85 million hours viewed and scored fifth place on the chart, and Missing: Dead or Alive which dropped to the bottom of the list with 15.29 million hours viewed.
Season 2 of Firefly Lane returned to this weeks rankings in third place with 23.14 million hours viewed. The installment rejoined the chart after Netflix released part 2 of the final chapter on April 27.
The Night Agent continues its impressive run among the top 10 titles for the ninth week. During the viewing window, the political thriller landed at No. 8 with 16.8 million hours viewed. Its also worth noting that The Diplomat, another one of Netflixs dramas in the same genre, didnt make the chart this week despite its strong opening that stopped The Night Agents four-week run at No. 1. Both shows were quickly renewed for a second season.
At No. 9 on the list is Season 2 of Sweet Tooth, which earned 16.66 million hours viewed. The series has also been renewed for a third and final season.
