Somewhere underneath the sky
On the sinful Earth
Was living a nation, condemned
To a life without any light.
Dark were the eyes,
Everlasting was the night,
Black were the hands
Of the blind fate.
They so lived for long,
In darkness and obscurity,
Their own deities they invented -
The idols of sorrow.
But something strange happened
In their dark world -
The wonderworker was born,
He opened his eyes for the first time.
An envy so malicious reeked out
To the damned souls.
They tangled their black fingers
Into their hair.
His eyes they took away
And until his demise
Was he condemned to suffer
From the blinded nation.
Forever shackled.
For he had seen the day
Of thousands blind ones,
He could not become a king
And in the world alone he remained
With his guilt beside. (x2)
