I’ve got nothing good to say about this city.

Yet I feel so down when it comes time to leave.

The ones who see me off are the winter daphnes.

My friends, hope to see you again. Those more, it might be the end.

Rain in evening, on my journey. Road before me, a light shining.

All of my dreams in memory. Still will I be lost in my sleep.

Tears like the sea, so hard to breathe. That’s when I’ll be revived, you’ll see.

So stands this me, never been seen. Again there’ll be, sunlight on me.

I count all of the houses I pass as I go by.

The same number of lives and just as many goodbyes.
