Nothing's at peace anymore
And every flat much too small
Even the neighbor screams dull through the door
Even I fear myself a little bit
The street seems annoyed
A child stands still, starts to cry
Because father does not like jokes
And mother hasn't laughed hearty for a long time
Everyone just passed by mutely
Even without coals they heat
And just silentely greet with a firm hand
Everyone's only restricted to one's own thinking
The mass seems separated and keeps quiet
Everything geared like wedged
Wish that the birds come from the south
The streets glimmer, the flowers bloom
Uuuuh we want summer
Because it only rains and does not become warm
Uuuuh we want ... hush
Walking around like last year
And in front of this picture stripes
I color this day and search for support
I carry the chairs out of the restaurant
Create warm places so one can sit down
I paint the gray wall white
The sky blue and thaw the ice
A little bit of comfort
