How nicely may is blooming
The summer's warm and kind
This beautiful young damsel
Again has crossed my mind
With her I'd gladly dwell
If I but think upon her
My heart of joy does swell
With her I would dwell gladly
With her I would do fine
She's like the wondrous daystar
To this old heart of mine
Her lovely lips so swell
Alas If i could kiss her
My heart would heal right well
Grant god I'd find in the garden
A twig with roses three
I'd patiently await her
With this token of love for me
The sunrise' path is made
It scatters all its roses
Adieu my pretty maid
