The night wind gently blowing on Penghu Bay
White waves chasing the sand beach
No coconut groves adorning the setting Sun
But just one blue sea
Sitting on the low wall in front of the door I reminisce(d) once and once again
'Twas also a sand beach at dusk with footprints two pairs and a half
It was grandma carrying her crutch and gently holding my hands
Stepping on the light dusk we walked towards the afterglow, the warm Penghu Bay
Each footprint is a string of laughter and chatting that took away much of time
Till the night engulfed us two on our way back home
Penghu Bay, Penghu Bay, Grandma's Penghu Bay
Holds my many childhood fantasies
Sunlight, sand beach, sea waves, cactuses
And one elderly captain
