Living without you,
Such a hard learning process!
In front of my mirror,
Learning how to talk to myself.
The teacher who is instructing me
Is time, which doesn't stop...
Living without you,
Such a hard learning process!
Like one who has lost her sight
And, slowly, (walking) across the rooms,
Learns to recognize her own furniture
Because her legs keep bumping into it.
Time kisses my eyes
And wipes my tears away;
Gradually, it washes away
The scents that you left behind.
Once again, both the night and I
Are in this wide and empty bed!
And that feared peacefulness,
Which is already creeping back at home;
It had been, for the longest time,
Begging to be allowed in
As she offered to me, tenderly,
Her ice cold hand...
Living without you
And, slowly, starting to forget you...
