No one chooses his family
or his race when he's born,
nor whether he’ll be rich, poor, good, bad,
a brave one or a coward.
We are born because of the decision
that was not consulted with us
and no one can promise us what the results will be.
When we are born we don’t know
even our name,
nor which will be our footpath,
nor what the future hides.
Between the christening and the funeral
everyone finds his way
and with his decisions - his destination.
We are one more deck of cards
of the game that someone else has started,
and each of us will bet
with the hand he has inherited.
Life is the door
where they don’t charge you for the entrance
and the soul is the ticket that all your life long
they tear up every time you pay.
And every step leaves a footprint,
and every footprint creates a history,
and every past day is a star
on the sky of the memory,
and the tide of time brings and takes away
our contradictions,
and between returns and farewells
the wounds1are healed.
And every friend is a family
that we choose among strangers,
and between waiting and meeting
over the years one learns
that our soul listens
only our to conscience,
and that one thing is to be a male
and another - to be a man.
No one chooses his family
or his race when his born,
nor whether we’ll be good, bad, pretty, ugly
innocent or guilty.
From the birth until the death
the whole life is a slope,
what we’ll do depends on our willpower.
I dream about a different world,
where our love would never end,
where we would never reject the rights of others,
where we would never forget to give a helping hand
to the one who was left behind.
I dream about a different world,
where our love would never end,
and about the one who would know more
and would show the rest the way to this world,
so that all of us would learn
a little more about the world.
I dream about a different world,
where our love would never end,
and to leave our Earth
being better than it was when we arrived,
with the hope of a child
and this summer heat.
I dream about a different world,
where our love would never end...
