A summer without you
In this lost corner,
It's no joy.
I don't walk anymore.
We promised each other
Happyness both together
But you've gone again
And I'm unhappy with that.
All alone in my corner
I come and go,
I read the paper,
I'm far from
Beeing in good spirits.
It makes me nervous
That big blue sea
Which doesn't give a damn.
A summer without you
It's really hell.
There's enough to make you
Hate the sea.
On my mattress
I dream of your body,
Drunk with the voice
Of my transistor.
I have no taste for anything.
You know that
It's always the same
When you're away:
I can' t sleep any more
I've been taking pictures
I put on four pounds
And sunburned.
You took away
Your laughter,
Your wet hair,
My oil to brown,
Your salt taste,
Your golden skin,
The hotel keys,
And my crossword puzzle.
Please come back!
It's inhuman
To leave me alone.
Do I look smart
Under my umbrella
With all this fine sand,
This fresh sea air?
I'm sick and tired of it.
I dream endlessly
To spend time later
By the fire
The autumn with you,
Winter with you,
Life with you...
