A certain something when you walk
And the somewhat graceless posture
Of those who trap stars in nets...
An idiosyncrasy that isn't loved
By new idiots; leaders
Of an old and rusted-over social order.
But this light from your eyes
Fills the horizon with lighthouses
And blinds the wolves, who watch all night night
Over freedom, in chains yet free...
Always free!
There's a secret in your smile
That is terrifying to the placid sleep
Of those who are all-powerful.
The heart beats in revolt,
Making you an objector before the guards
Of political correctness.
And this light in your eyes,
Which is hope and our tomorrow...
I love you like this and I know that you love me like this
When, touch by touch, we open our lives
To a winds that is forcefully driving forward
A world that is drawing nearer!
I sing for the dream in your eyes,
Because it reaches further
Than this dream of mine!
There's a poem to the future
In the hope that fills your glances,
And your smile is the one that announced it...
Happy!
I like you when you revolt
And pirate new ships
So you can go against the current.
No one knows how to buy you,
Nor how to flatten
The dust in your impetuous brain!
Because the light in your eyes
Is a lit flame and a danger
For the institutions of fear, which make correct
To accept as true a normalcy
Filled with injustice, misery,
Ferocious wars!
I sing for the dream in your eyes
Because, in it, survives
Everything I love!
There's a poem to the future
In the hope that fills your glances,
And your smile is the one that announced it...
Happy!
