Ultima Thule
Ultima Thule
But will I find the way to it?
To my elusive Ultima Thule
Ultima Thule
The weather outside is cool,
A marine painter is thrilled,
Earth is a flat disc
Under the dome of rain,1
There are noisy waves in the rooms,
They'll flush away my bed for the night,
But I foreknow that your Noah's ark won't pick us up,
It's cold and windy on these atolls,2
The weather man gave up on that,
The meteorologist started drinking...
The sea is everywhere, there's a little chance I'll wade it through,
But I take hold of my weakness and then fuck her mouth, since
Seagulls are meowing like cat souls,
It's hard without dry land, but we'll survive in this puddle,
It's like the Hollywood movie about Waterworld
That was directed by another boring sodomite,
The land experience is useless here,
There's too much water in the hydrological cycle,
And the city is moored, it's swimming on a long rope,
Somewhere in high seas, the kraken3 is chowing down on an aircraft carrier,
But my goal is further there, in the storm epicenter,
As the eyes of Hyperborea4 are on the face of Lemuria,5
The first killer whales are swimming near the window, so much for occasional precipitation...
On the raft, afloat, on the board, but will I find the way to it? To Ultima Thule...6
I swim deliriously, I drown and stroll on stilts to Ultima Thule...
Through fates and storms, but will I find the way to it, to my elusive Ultima Thule...
