The sound of footsteps has faded in the twilight,
The birds are silent.
From the blue coasts
The sunset subsided
I’ll make a bonfire on the sand
And the shadows will step into the night.
The night is breathing with the warm wind,
February, you’re not welcome here, go away,
Go away, you’re not needed here
Don’t disturb my blue skies with your storms
My little world is peaceful now
And silent.
I’m not sick with
Sizzling anguish anymore.
Now the grass is deep and the woods are fresh,
Where fire could reach the sky.
I was calling your name, I was burning,
That was when I needed your cold,
But, February, it’s not the time for you now
So go away, and take your winds with you
Don’t drop the snowflakes in the dark waters,
I’m not the same.
There is just a light left
From the sea of fire.
Just a bonfire of me. It’s a pity
February, you’re two days late
The night is breathing with the warm wind,
February, you’re not welcome here, go away,
Go away, you’re not needed here
Don’t disturb my blue skies with your storms
I was calling your name, I was burning,
That was when I needed your cold,
But, February, it’s not the time for you now
So go away, and take your winds with you
