If it's about revealing how thick my foolproof skin is,
If it's about revealing that I am an armor all by myself
I won't go very far as time passes, that is certain.
I am like trees; there are seasons where I disapear.
All alone, we are nothing
I call you and don't dare
Ask you it
Don't leave me alone
All alone, time imposes us
With its solitude
Here are my arms
And yours, why not?
Why not?
If it's a question of desire, I believe it's possible to say that I miss you
I laugh as I breath but deep down I stumble
and your memory makes me itch now that I am here
All alone, we are nothing
I call you and don't dare
Ask you it
Don't leave me alone
All alone, time imposes us
With its solitude
Here are my arms
And yours, why not?
Why not?
I'm don't fear, Spérenza1
We always find ourselves a Vendredi 2
But without you guys and without you
All alone, we are nothing
I call you and don't dare
Ask you it
Don't leave me alone
All alone, time imposes us
With its solitude
Here are my arms
And yours, why not?
Why not?
All alone, we are nothing
I call you and don't dare
Ask you it
Don't leave me alone
All alone, time imposes us
With its solitude
Here are my arms
And yours, why not?
Why not?
1. This name comes from a book "Vendredi ou les Limbes du Pacifique" which is a variation of the English book "Robinson Crusoe." Spérenza is the island in the book which is ironical named "hope."2. Vendredi or Friday, in Engish, comes from the same novel mentioned above. Robinson, the main character, saves Vendredi from death. Vendredi becomes his slave, but more like a companion.
