Winter is so cold,
So forlorn and white;
Soon there will be an inevitable
Warmth deficiency.
We'll start saving ourselves
From this warmth-destitution,
So soon warm cats
Will be in fashion again.
We will pet all purring,
Warm, sleepy, real cats,
Rubbing furry tummies.
Everything is fickle
In strange human world;
Soft purring cats
Are constant.
Everybody is running home
From cold and empty streets,
So soon warm cats
Will be in fashion again.
Warm cats
Float in the skies like clouds;
Thoughts are overflown
With purring cats.
Claws can dig into a leg,
But, believe me, leg is not a heart;
Cats don't wound
As people do sometimes.
A warm cat will console me,
Lay on a sore spot,
And I will fall asleep, hugging
A warm cat.
Come to play,
To shed hair on owner's jersey,
To tear a book,
To scratch a chair.
Come to me
From the world of strange winter dreams,
Discard prejudices,
Wake up your cats.
We will pet all purring,
Warm, sleepy, real cats,
Rubbing furry tummies.
Everything is fickle
In strange human world;
Soft purring cats
Are constant.
Claws can dig into leg,
But, believe me, leg is not a heart;
Cats don't wound
As people do sometimes.
A warm cat will console me,
Lay on a sore spot,
And I will fall asleep, hugging
A warm cat.
