Autumn leaves falling
Breezes bring them over here
Alone, I must rake
The winds favour me
Bountry of dried foliage
Deep in crispy heaps
An ancient tree stands
Stripped of its green ensemble
Now tatters below
In my neighbor's realm
The gusts clear them from that home
Sharing them with mine
None come to reclaim
Recovering arbor loss
Regretting the cost
