It sits in the center of the room
Amid its cage of majesty
A throne on which to rant and rave
A castle secure against life's justice
A prison unknown, not free to be
It speaks quite loudly
Boisterous and brutal
Neither aware of others
Nor of its own demise
No joy, no sorrow
The words have no meaning
Save, to behold the speaker
A novelty at first
Becomes a noisey burden
Wishing for only silence again
