The orchid flourished in fertile ground
The bumblebee humming a nonlyrical song
As he passed he heard a sobbing sound
He stopped and inquired as what was wrong
Dear bee, replied the orchid, why can I not fly?
Nor live in a hive, or eat honey or even walk
Upon listening well the bee did then sigh
Scratched his antennae and began to talk
Why orchid fragrant, beauty, and sweet
An orchid, a botannical wonder so coverted
Your wasted wishes are your own deceit
No good reason to be so foolishly upsetted
An orchid you are and always you will stay
Be well the orchid and no more may you fret
Blessed am I to keep near a living bouquet
Our differences are nature's way, spurn your regret
