If perchance you question yourself
To wonder how you might be
Glimpse a moment at your looking glass self
Do not wonder for you're looking at 'me'
Do 'I' present an image so fair
Or perhaps a malevolently hideous creature
Does it matter then if you have hair
Or that 'I' emphasize every feature
The looking glass self shapes you
Whether it be dismissed or confirmed
But in 'my' presence does fear sink through
Is your image strong or is it infirmed
Do not bring conceitment in view
Nor its reflection should you fear
With your looking glass self always be true
Make good your character and shed a tear
Dancing, bounding rays of light upon the dew
The beauty prismatic colours the sights
Take time to comprehend your self image
Correct or care for what are your highlights
'I' am your looking glass self, your freedom, or a cage
