Upon those windswept summits of Mauna Kea
I will gaze outward to twilit skies
Until the Tristars of Summer reveal themselves
From the night sands of Punalu'u
I set sail across Pacific seas
To where I shall climb atop the steps of Tikal
And there, the mysteries of Orion will unravel
In the passing waves of the blue Caribbean
I reach ashore
And ascend the angelic falls of Kerepakupai Vená
I gaze above
As lonesome Venus looms overhead
Beyond the veiled mists of Serra do Mar
The city of Rio de Janeiro comes into view
And from atop Cristo Redentor
Mimosa sweetly smiles down below
The Sea of Atlas, which beckons me again,
Takes me far yonder to A' Ghàidhealtachd
And row by row, the Seven Sisters guide me
In the quiet and peaceful town of Cuxhaven
Where falling shards of light disturbs the night
And in its wake, a plume of astralworks
Spiraling in the awe Sylvester that it resembles
The tulip fields of Holland
With windmills on the horizon, turning in the wind
I board the hot air balloon
Whose vibrant colors likens to that from below
And whose flame is that of Mars up above
The calm and soothing air upon my face
As I hover over Danmark, and over Norge
Cheerful cows prance on the countryside of Ikast
While in Langedrag, a horned moon rises
Over the river of Kokemäki and Lake Kulovesi
I make my way through the isles of Muhu and Saaremaa
Watching as Mercury passes across the fading sunset
I close my eyes and fall asleep
Dreaming that I strode pass the street of Jauniela
And along the avenue of Gediminas
My reverie entangled within the Veil Nebula
I now descend upon the woods of ancient Białowieża
Silvery streams carve upon the Puszcza Biała of Masovia
And in the company of the hooting owl
I kneel to commune with spirits forlorn
As the Milky Way observes from on high
The towery pinnacles of Пішчалаўскі замак
And of beautiful Собор Василия Блаженного
The golden capped Михайлівський золотоверхий
Echoes the breaking of a new dawn
I arrive atop majestic Kékes
Where the noble red deer grazes
Under the watchful eye of Csodaszarvas
And deep within the enigmatic Pădurea Hoia
Time has no meaning
Yet I still move forward
Every step a single glisten from the sacral star
A summer's child on the fields of Lada
The lonely widow o'er the wintry graves of Morana
Finding solace within the rings of Saturn
From mountainous Pic de l'Estanyo of Andorra
To the Petrified Forest of مرواه
I enter the sungate on the isle of Νάξος
Upon which Apollo shall soon rise again
And through the Aegean Sea
I arrive at Altın Boynuz
Making my way to הַכֹּתֶל הַמַּעֲרָבִי
And visiting ancient كَهَف شانِدَر
Under the mesmerizing asperatus clouds
From the breathtaking ताजमहल that speaks of love
To the gold adorned ພຣະທາດຫຼວງ
I arrive at the Tomb of Khải Định
Only to wish upon a falling star
Above the twin towers of Kuala Lumpur
And atop Mount Rinjani
I can see الدبران in its faint reddish glow
The great statues of 석굴암, 高徳院, and 樂山大佛
And in the new world, the Fresque des Québécois
All tell a tale, a story
As cosmic energies align through all things
After a time once lost and forgotten
I will gaze homeward to the midnight sky
And call upon the Great Bear,
Whose hide shrouds 'neath these seven stars,
"Guide my way to the North Star."
And when I find her, I will implore,
"Shine your unwavering light below
And guide my path to the place I once called home
Home in the valley below Denali's peaks."
