I wake in darkness - I'm tied down
Warm, wet, screaming, thrashing in horror
I soon accommodate to the helplessness, feel myself
Search my memory, it's so desolate and empty
Then a light flickers, and a lid opens over me
I am in a metal coffin and tubes run into me
I can't even remember my name, can't recognize my hands
My naked self in the mirror looks like an alien machine
Through the nightmares I knew I was elsewhere
That a strange mission I was mine to be borne
How a vow binds to deeps and streams
Over the secret, my heart has a seal
A prisoner or a refugee, a slave or a king,
no feeling in my memory, yet the room starts to speak
"Rise, dress, we are soon there"

I rise, dress and touch the door
