суженая [suzhenaya] [English translation]

[Verse 1, Klava Koka]:

All, that you bought me, these clothes and rings -

Only you won't get that which isn't for sale (o-o).

You're absolutely not a reason to forget everything in the world (m-m).

I don't need a man, if you haven't noticed.

[Bridge]:

I don't need your wallet (m-m)

And I don't need a handbag from you (m-m)

You know, you're not my dog1

And I'm not your bi...(bi.....bi.....)2

[Refrain]:

Be-be-be-betrothed, be-be-be-betrothed, 3

Be-be-be-betrothed, I pay for my own dinner.

Be-be-be-betrothed, be-be-be-betrothed.

Be-be-be-betrothed, you won't be my husband.

[Verse 2, Klava Koka]:

You're handsome like Revva (yeah), I've hooked you (yeah),4

But if you stray - goodbye, darl'.5

You can go to Marina (o-o), Olya, Tanya and Sveta -6

I don't need a man, if you haven't noticed!

[Bridge]:

I don't need your wallet (m-m)

And I don't need a handbag from you (m-m)

You know, you're not my dog

And I'm not your bi...(bi.....bi.....)

[Refrain]:

Be-be-be-betrothed, be-be-be-betrothed,

Be-be-be-betrothed, I pay for my own dinner.

Be-be-be-betrothed, be-be-be-betrothed.

Be-be-be-betrothed, you won't be my husband.

[Post-refrain]:

Be-be-be-betrothed, betrothed;

Be-be-be-betrothed, betrothed!

Be-be-be-betrothed,

I pay for my own dinner.

[Verse 3, Klava Koka]:

Maybe you're betrothed, maybe you're costumed -

Girls are crying, the glaze drips off.7

You're too well-groomed, too charged;

How great, that I'm not your b....(betrothed!)

[Refrain]:

Be-be-be-betrothed, be-be-be-betrothed (betrothed),

Be-be-be-betrothed, I pay for my own dinner.

Be-be-be-betrothed (betrothed), be-be-be-betrothed (betrothed),

Be-be-be-betrothed, you won't be my husband!

1. This word refers to a male dog - in contrast to the female dog (yep) invoked in the next line.2. Yeah, it's the first syllable of "bitch" in russian, aka the "су" in "сука".3. 99% sure this is wordplay, because in the previous line she's saying "су" with the heavy implication that it's the first syllable of "bitch" (given the reference to a male dog in the previous line, and given the implied rhyme with "сумка"), but here it's the first syllable of "intended"/"betrothed" instead4. Looking up "Reva" yielded to me some...comedian dude? I am not very in touch with Russian popular culture, and if it's him, then I either have very different taste, or this is meant to be an insult/sarcastic5. Literally "bunny". Used as a pet name.6. All female Russian names7. Could also mean "icing", as in cake.
