To the café of carefreeness
I'm going back there
an impossible day, a hard one...
I'm telling myself: "What are you asking for? Where are you going?"
The time has passed
but I was crazily lucky!
The owner recognized me
despite my gentleman's costume
as if she was waiting for me
she saved my old table for me
In the café of carefreeness
an onetime full pocket
not giving two hoots about
the world's musts
want-tos, don'ts
To the café of long-lost times
I went to find again the band
and the wildly rocking promises
of a future that never came
My soul remained there
in the days of happiness
luxury, festive life
But life of course
didn't wish me so
'cause I ignored the beaten tracks
so instead of a heart
it has grafted a calculator in me
and this evening along with the dreamers
we're gonna sing our lungs out
In the café of carefreeness
an onetime full pocket
not giving two hoots about
the world's musts
want-tos, don'ts
To the café of long-lost times
I went to find again the band
that raised our spirits on demand
every time we didn't believe in it any more
To the café of long-lost times. I went ...
In the café of carefreeness
an onetime full pocket
not giving two hoots about
the world's musts
want-tos, don'ts
To the café of long-lost times
I went to find again the band
and the wildly rocking promises
of a future that never came
