Sometimes it happens that you want to hear
Things which are better left unknown,
And something pulls your hand toward the place
Where you think it would be better not to have eyes.
In the kitchen, you look at the faucet and water,
But the truth doesn't come out of anywhere.
And friends are looking into your eyes
And their eyes are telling you...
Sleep by yourself
When I'm not there by your side
Sometimes it happens that at the store
You want to shout, "What's my fault?!"
They glance at you with knowing eyes,
And it really hurts, even if unintentionally.
And you grow up, get old, and die
And yet you never know that truth,
You fear it, you run away from it
And fall asleep alone inside your walls.
Sleep by yourself
When I'm not there by your side
Sleep by yourself...
