I'd love to be
A little sunray
A friendly lightning
Gleam of hope at the horizon
A high-spirits-bringer
An envoy of peace and
A joy donator luck consignor
A smile without reason
I’d love to be
A little motley fish
A flapper-swinger, water-splasher
Fulfilled with joy of life
Survival whiz, bliss enjoyer
Living for the jiffy
A planned red herring
Just for you problem
I’d love to be
A big green sturdy tree
A mound a rock into your surge
Warm and secure shelter
A strong shoulder to lean on
Donator of security
The rear cover
Trust for all these times
And then I’d follow you
Lighten all your ways
Banish all these shadow
Blow up these handicaps
And when everything is grey
In the lake of your soul
I’d be the only blur of colour
Your own flicker of hope
But much to my regret
I won’t be this or this
Cause I’m common-or-garden
And happy to have this luck
That you like me in some way
That’s why I try at least
To steal a bit of sunray fish
And tree, just for you
