[1st verse]
I guess I've never been too kind to myself
So many times I've been throwing punches at myself
Every morning is like a K-1 competition
Just that those fighting me are pros
Understanding took its time to reach me
And then I've barely missed it a few times
Until one day, the first element finally
Fell into place and awanekend the awareness in me
We're not just a cluster of tissues
See for yourself how everything comes together
Sometimes we just lack perspective
But this is surely not a coincidence
This truth about ourselves is buried deep in us
So long forgotten that we can no longer believe it
When it appears in front of us
So every day we choose materialism
And we keep chasing after changes for years
So sure that we will ourselves beyond the next turn
And it's enough to give yourself some time
To understand what is unchanging inside us
When we become rooted in matter, there is an element that's making us angry
Because deep inside everyone knows
That we are like wind
Blowing high above the tree branches
There are so many things pumping doubt into us so loudly
And the blood is pumping the oxygen so quietly
That we find it hard to believe that
We receive the greatest treasure for free
Maybe you'll understand it today
Maybe tomorrow, and maybe it won't be easy
But when you finally discover your nature
Write me an e-mail, give me a high five and say "I'm a miracle!"
[chorus]
I am a sower! Good people are coming with me
To sow the seeds of kindness
We're throwing them into darkness, and we're sure -
They can bring the light to someone
Each one of you is a sower! Good people everywhere
Are coming to sow the seeds of kindness
They're throwing them into darkness and they're sure -
Each one of us can bring the light to someone
[Verse 2]
We always look for ourselves in the wrong places:
In the past, the future
And we're missing the beauty (of what?) of the present
You need to change it fast
We often let opinions bring us down
We mistake them for our reality
Cause we don't know we can leave them behind
And so we live on, letting everything get to us
Our self-esteem tattered from head to toe
Is right there, dependant on other people's words
How long will it last, till death?
How many years can you walk around like you're dead?
Each of us is their own guru
We bring a great deal of pain upon ourselves
It's time to open the gates in the middle of the wall
And wake up the light of the spirit
When we have no love and self-respect
We become victims, preparing the noose
(for who?) for ourselves
But I do believe the doors of better days are never closed
To big corporations blinded with greed
We are nothing but statistics
But we treat what they throw at us as if it's holy
Instead of trying to take care of ourselves
And not to nibble at every bait
I'm not here to preach
But to share something that maybe, could change something
My heart won't let me be indifferent to
What I've seen in hundreds of eyes
It's time to start looking for a rainbow when it rains
Especially when it rains inside us
And when the night comes
Not to give in into darkness
And to head for the starlight
[chorus]
I am a sower! Good people are coming with me
To sow the seeds of kindness
We're throwing them into darkness, and we're sure -
They can bring the light to someone
Each one of you is a sower! Good people everywhere
Are coming to sow the seeds of kindness
They're throwing them into darkness and they're sure -
They can bring the light to someone
