If I was a friend of the Great Lord
If I knew the prayers
If I had blue blood
The power to efface and redo everything
If I was a queen or a magician
Princess, fairy, great captain
Of a noble regime
If I had the strides of a giant
I would eradicate the misery
I would wipe all the tears
And I would make the desert bloom and make hope spring
I would sow the utopias, bowing would be forbidden
We wouldn’t divert the glances anymore
If I had thousands or hundreds
The talent, strength or enchants
Of the masters, of the puissant men
If I have the keys of their souls
If I knew how to take up the weapons
In the fire of an army of titans
I would light the flames
In the extinguished dreams of children
I would bring colours to where there is sorrow
I would invent the Edens
With no chances, no stars, at least nothing
But all I have is a ragged/tattered heart
And two hands reached out with twigs
A voiced wiped out by the wind in the morning
But if our bare hands gathered
Our million hearts assembled
If our voices joined
Which winter would resist them?
A strong world, a soul sisters land
We will build from these ashes
Little by little, crumb by crumb
Drop by drop, and heart by heart
Little by little, crumb by crumb
Drop by drop and heart by heart
