Señor Juez [English translation]

His honor, I only wanted to tell you,

that today, tired of living

I´ve decided to take my final sick leave,

the eternal one, the proper one, I erase myself from the exchequer

and here in this very line I will tell you of the reason,

Don´t think it´s a tragicomedy of love,

or that I have cancer and can´t bear the pain,

or other such things.

Brimming with health, in the best years of my life,

I´m doing perfectly fine in everything, except

for such a recalcitrant ennui,

that living is, for me, so insipid

that it irks me and drives me, His Honor,

to go off on a tangent.

What puts the final cherry on the icing, the cutting to the chase

is, no more and no less, than the famous opression,

undesrtood in the lax sense.

You know what I mean, what can I explain,

if here on this place, to pass judgement is to judge

and I´m surr you know your fair share of that.

If I were a women, a racial minority,

hardboiled christian, left-handed, homosexual,

from the Third World, constrcution worker, artist,

I could join in their revolution.

But not being one, mi adherence

feels sort of paternalist.

I can´t change my gender, or my skin,

mi atheism, my hands, my honeymoons,

become devoid of social class or pluck the lyre.

And even if I could, I know it wouldn´t be the same,

I wouldn´t be who I am, the main reason,

And if I don´t know who I am, it´s naive,

to belive that if I hang myself I´ll be free,

other than to pick the rope with which I do the deed,

You represent the law, you are a symbol of power,
