That which had been put to rest and sentenced to eternal oblivion
Tied to stones and hidden there
I saw [them] wake up in a dream, easily carve and break free
And thus I saw locks and chains break
Ride again, they ride again
Rushing forth through the dark and misty moor
Fight again, they fight again
Fighting with cold and wet winds everywhere, so cold
Darkness swept over oceans and land and a roar emerges from within the darkness
I can hear evil notes sound through the ether then
There were warnings and omens, many signs that speak of evil
Given in vain, the warning was wasted
And where the ocean touches the sky
Where the stars meet the wave
Beyond the edge of the horizon, beyond the skies I saw
Dust and smoke from a hundred villains
And a hundred more splitting mountains
Beyond the days that have been, beyond the stars I can see
And thus my sight flew over the world, I saw far and wide
Fear and terror takes shape in [my] sleep
Thoughts are travelling among the waves, to places I had seen
Where the wind had put its hand on my kin and friends
