1. the actual translation would be bird wings, took myself some freedom since it sounds a bit odd in English, at least to me 2. two things here: first, trolska stems from troll, meaning a nordic mythological creature and 'trolska' is word that conveys the mythological 'charm', or what have you, that the dawn can invoke (so basically that the dawn you see is breathtaking beyond belief)

Secondly 'Skär' isn't technically an island, more of an islet I guess3. calling/shouting is the literal translation, yearning is more of an artistic twist I guess?)4. this is another part that is kind off iffy; the literal translation would probably be "I'm waiting in the silence, that a thousand sounds are hiding within". But I don't know, it really didn't do much for me, so again I took some liberties. 'Here' is in a parenthesis since it's just added to sound better when spoken/sung5. here the parenthesis is for a word that doesn't quite fit the translation, but exists in the Swedish lyrics
