If you tell me farewell
I want the day to be clean and clear,
and that no bird
interrupts the harmony of his song.
May you be lucky
and find what you didn't find
in me.
If you tell me ”I love you”
may the sun make the day much longer,
and thus, steal
time from the time of a clock that stopped.
May we be lucky
and find all we missed
yesterday.
And so catch every fruit that it can give you
the road that, little by little, you are writing for tomorrow.
Because tomorrow at each step the fruit will be missing;
therefore, in spite of the fog, you need to walk.
If you’ll come with me,
don’t ask for an even road,
or for silver stars,
or for a tomorrow rich of promises,
but only for a little luck,
and may life give us a road
really long.
And so catch every fruit that it can give you
the road that, little by little, you are writing for tomorrow.
Because tomorrow at each step the fruit will be missing;
therefore, in spite of the fog, you need to walk.
