The skomorokh on wedding
Was prompt as peas.
He ran on tables,
Throw puddings at guests.
He talked such nonsense,
That everyone laughed until tears,
Even an old dog.
A merry holiday is in a village,
Drunk people are dancing,
Lots of food are on tables,
The wedding is in full swing.
And skomorokh exclaimed,
When laughter faded away:
“Do you want to see a magic trick?”
He grabbed the bride
And put her in a butt,
Asked everyone to turn aside.
A merry holiday is in a village,
Drunk people are dancing,
Lots of food are on tables,
The wedding is in full swing.
There was a woman scream,
And at the same moment
Street lights were turned off
On long village street.
People turned on the lights,
But the bride was absent,
And they didn’t find the skomorokh.
A merry holiday is in a village,
Drunk people are dancing,
Lots of food are on tables,
The wedding is in full swing.
