Apostle Andrew was fishing at pier
While the Savior walked on water
As Andrew caught minnows, he was watching the Savior
Pull the people, the drowned and the slaughtered
And Andrew cried: “I would rather die
Then not know your secret at all -
Be kind to me please, teach me and guide
How you pull the slaughtered souls?!”
- “Do you see on the hill a crucifix standing tall?
Try what it's like to be hung there, upon it
And when you’ve had enough you may wanna come back
To walk on water
To walk on water
And pull the drowned souls..."
“But Teacher, the legions are scary in clout,
Black raven is circling there
Explain to me now – mercy the clown
And the Crucifix, leave it for later?”
The Savior got numb: "You're as thick as the wood!"
And stamped at the water with foot:
“You are truly a clown!” - and Andrew in tears
Went home with minnows - for good
- “Do you see on the hill a crucifix standing tall?
Try what it's like to be hung there, upon it
And when you’ve had enough you may wanna come back
To walk on water
To walk on water
And pull the drowned souls..."
- “Do you see on the hill a crucifix standing tall?
Try what it's like to be hung there, upon it
And when you’ve had enough you may wanna come back
To walk on water
To walk on water
And pull the drowned souls..."
