My car splits the fog slowly
On the passenger side, there are two large all-dressed (a deluxe pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers)
The November sky is crying
Outside we do not see the addresses
The guy on the radio said it earlier
It looks like the economy is in the dumps
The times are tough for delivery boys
People don't tip, gas is expensive
That's it, i am going back to the restaurant
To finish my shift, to punch my card
Like my manager just told me
It is not tonight that we will become rich
Thanks a lot for this fact
It just makes me want to drink
Of course not I promised at AA
I stay sober, like a sparrow
One day at a time
My car restarts in the cold
On the passenger side, no more tenderness
The sky of my days is crying
You never left me an address
The weather guy said it earlier
It seems theres a depression in the air
The times are tough on my little heart
What do you want, you were important to me
So I leave the restaurant
Again I am alone with my face
Like my manager just told me
It obviously not tonight I'll put it on
Cheap shot, but OK the truth
Comes out the mouth of assholes
And so, I admit, it sucks to be me
But everyday is enough
Like a bruised star in the night
I hang on to my sky and survive
I who really needs a friend
In the immensity of my loneliness
Like everyone else I am looking for the same thing
A little love on my bruising
In waiting i turn in circles in the night
Around the Pizza Galaxy
My car is holding on in the darkness
On the passenger side a huge desert
The January sky is telling itself scares
While thawing winter a bit
My friend the Matéo saw you earlier
Apparently you are throwing your life away again
The times are good for your dealer
It does something to me to see you in misery
Tonight I am gripping my steering wheel
Low walls against my demons
120 days that I no longer drink
Honestly sometimes I find this long
In the end we were not the same
You are waiting for your wings to grow
I just hope to see the sun
Through my windshield that is frozen
Like a bruised star in the night
I hang on to my sky and survive
I who really needs a friend
In the immensity of my loneliness
Like everyone else I am looking for the same thing
A little love on my bruising
In waiting i turn in circles in the night
Around the Pizza Galaxy
In waiting i turn in circles in the night
Around the Pizza Galaxy
