If I stumbled on the road
If I scrubbed my knees
If I have been too eager
If I have been to comfortable
If it some time was taken away from me
That which I know was my right
If I have been too hungry
If I have been too full
If I have fought against my own
As if the enemy was not enough
And if the eyes were cold
He who thought he was smiling
And if the bosom were I rested
Not giving me any peace
If I called out into the darkness
God what do you want us to believe
And if the roads were long
And did not lead any where
If I starred in the ground
And wished I did not exist
If unjust sat on the throne
If unjust sat on the justice place
If every step took me backwards
Even though I ran even though I was ready
If I fought against the own
As if the enemy was not enough
And if the eyes were cold
He who thought he was smiling
And if the bosom were I rested
Not giving me any peace
If I called out into the darkness
God what do you want us to to believe
If I stumbled on the road
And got dirt in my mouth
If I felt the blood dripping
From my mouth onto my blouse
And if no good harvests
Never came from my hard work
Anyway I can state
Every thing that happend led me here
