Oh how great is such a thing as that Sabbath,
which the celestial court honours,
which provides rest to the weary and mercy to the strong,
when God is things to all people.
Truly Jerusalem is the city
whose peace is eternal, whose liveliness is the greatest,
where neither desire prevents deeds
nor is the reward of the deeds less than what is desired.
Who is the King, what is the court, what kind of palace is it,
what is the peace, what is the respite, what is that joy,
that those who share in them may offer glory
if they can as much as feel, they can express this.
He advances from Sabbath to Sabbath
The uninterrupted joy of those who observe the Sabbath
And the ineffable will not cease in their celebrations
which we will repeat, both we and the angels.
Eternal glory to the Lord Everlasting
From whom, through whom and in whom all things are,
From whom they are, the Father is, through whom they are, the Son, in whom they are, the Spirit of the Father and the Son.
