More weeds rise from the ground
Than blossoms, in my garden;
They are watered by the loneliness
That you just sowed in me!
The leaves are falling in the Summer,
They are covering your rose garden...
I cannot find an explanation
For this abnormal Autumn!
I drop the seeds on the ground
And hope that they will grow, at last,
Just as grew that love
Which you once felt for me.
Yet moon after moon goes by
And the rain, the sun and the wind go by (as well)
And only a thought is born within me;
(It's) colourless, with a greyish shade.
I wonder whether there's someone
Who ever felt a sadness as great as mine,
For it even confounds
The very powers of Nature...
