Heaven.

I believe in Heaven. It exists. I’ve often been there.

Many of us know the need for the big blue.

Great Heaven, pure Heaven,

a bright roof for our dark affairs,

protect us from Evil, save us from fear!

My thoughts, my thoughts restless even in dreams:

let them not bring grudge and envy.

I try to turn them into a cry of delight,

into amazement that I’m still here a while.

And Heaven, the eternal Heaven,

if it’s a total of our souls,

then we’re close to it.
