The rain poured like crazy
the sky opened up
I hid in the passage
across the street from the rain
she, such a beauty, waited for someone
is it possible she's waiting for anybody at all
After twenty minutes
the rain stopped completely
she felt hurt, angry
she asked me for a cigarette
but I invited her for a drink, she started
like she was waiting for my invite all along
We spent the night at my place
like we've known each other for a long time
I was only left with
the memory of her at dawn
She didn't want me to find her
she gave me a false number
maybe she was married
maybe she was just engaged
When I remember that night
I mix whiskey with vodka
come again when you want
to be unfaithful to him
After my kisses
she cried for a long time
the name she gave me
was false as well
she used me and got revenge
on the man she truly loves
But I search for her in vain
in every woman I look at
but I hope in vain
for the woman who doesn't want me
since she vanished without a word
I'm drunk and try to heal my wounds in solitude
