There's something you must know about me
I'm right-handed but
When I smoke I do it
Left-handed
You should also know that I'm not
A raft but
I can swing you
Whenever you want
I keep my scars as if they were new
But they've been thirty years there
Touch them right where it should beat
There's something you have to know about me
Most times I've searched on you
What I missed on me
Always climbing your trunk without
Understanding that the only tree
I can climb is inside me
I feel my bark rough and full
Of marks of initials
Inside of hearts
That someone once carved
I have so many names
Written inside me
That I've forgotten how
All their bodies are
My branches want
Less and less
My thoughts are only leaves
None are true
There's something you must know about me
I've tried to hide
But what you have in front of you, is me
If you want to stay the night you'll have to
Embrace me whole
With all the parts I lost
