Stopped in the city's hellish traffic,
I can't control the anxiety.
The queue where I am does little or no progress.
Only the clock doesn't get tired.
Monday is the day of the week of greatest confusion
And the other days are the same.
And I spent an hour from home to my work
In the centre of unrest.
I'm going to work early in the morning
But, at this rate, I'll only be arriving tomorrow.
I'll go crazy always living like this.
The day is so long and I no longer answer for myself.

I'm sitting behind the wheel of my car, impatient.
I mentally insult others.
I turn up the volume of the radio to hear the news
About riots and cops.
Yesterday, there were riots in front of the parliament
And I think about it for a moment.
Even I feel aggressive.
The city swallows me alive.
I'm going to work early in the morning
But, at this rate, I'll only be arriving tomorrow.
I'll go crazy always living like this.
The day is so long and I no longer answer for myself.

(Rap - put on sunglasses) :)
In Oporto,
The situation is now a little bad.
There's a traffic queue
Because of the crash of a truck.
There's diesel oil spilled
And care must be taken
At the road exit to the wholesale market.
And the traffic patrol
Urges
The crowd
Who wants to see the crash
To control their minds
And to politely
And simply just go your way, please.
And, if you are in our country's capital city,
Madness reigns.
Carris1 does strike today.
If you live in a village,
Everything you ever wanted,
Make a big smile
And pretend to be happy.
The second queue is on the Pragal Bridge2.
On the 2nd Circular ring road, it is the morning chaos.
If you are coming from Amadora3 to the capital city,
Everything is queued as usual!
(Ohh... ohh...)
I'm going to work early in the morning
But, at this rate, I'll only be arriving tomorrow.
I'll go crazy always living like this.
The day is so long and I no longer answer for myself.

I don't answer for myself...
