An afternoon in December:
a window the size of a wall
separated us from
the slow snowflakes
in the park, where the lights were lit
Outside, still scattered there were
the rocks torn from the street
when we built battlefront lines
Now their ruins
are smoothened
Snow covered our bad sides
The thirst for power, the selfishness
The black city with slimy leaves
became white and
made us glitter for a while
The air was full of cigarette smoke
and for once everyone agreed
about the ending of the movie
and the benefits we had achieved
Peace upon earth is like snow
People who know
too well the bad things others have done
Are ultimately
similar everywhere
Peace upon earth is like snow
Snow covered our bad sides
The thirst for power, the selfishness
The black city with slimy leaves
became white and
made us glitter for a while
