And we can’t break this thread ever.
My country has gone off to war,
And I couldn’t stop it.
Some get power and pleasure,
Some get beggar’s bag and prison*,
And I can’t get over this pain:
My country has gone mad,
And I can’t help it at all.
And what is to be done,
When everything is upside down from now on.
One need not grow halo or feathers,
One just shouldn’t be a shit.
And I’m only sure in one thing:
It’s time to make a choice.
