I miss the sea
and its dear shores
facing immensity,
I miss the mountain
that raises its brow
facing eternity.
I miss to enjoy
my freedom,
two sunny hours,
just two hours
at sunset.
I miss that holy
and so great faith,
people who sing
improvising.
I miss those
who were young
when I too was,
jokes and laughter,
the true friendship,
the evenings in a café.
I miss them fully
with their questions,
my countrymen,
relatives or unrelated,
so as to feel good.
I need to be back soon,
to tear up my chains,
to make future laugh
and to live in my own way.
