How I hate writing
I walk in circles in my empty house
My thoughts mere delusions
My hopes like a morning web
My entire lifetime but ashes and mist
Those who moan of love, those who howl of lust
They circle the heart of the city prowling for blood
The most fearful hide in their dark castles behind ramparts
to brood on their ghosts

Is the world a nightmare from which you cannot wake up?
Is life but a sigh in the middle of a void?

Time passes, hours gallop ahead
Death reaps many a poor soul
Cross the bridge before evening comes
But beware the guild of murderers
Beware of joining those
who believe in nothing anymore
The will to be destroyed is perhaps woven into the soul itself
As is the desire for power beyond boundaries
The struggle spans the duration of the space between two words
Yes or no - that is the question
