Another year has passed on
A teenager you are no more
Best of times had in days bygone
A wish for you of blessings in score
Few have had honour and privilege
If knowing this soul of benevolence
Who constantly keeps all on edge
Of your success I have full confidence
Better than a brother, oh yes
Surely diety shines on your path
There were rough days I must confess
Too menial to incur wasteful wrath
Each day will bring on newer ways
Of challenges to constantly meet
To bring elderly bitterness its defeat
Endless wishes of an honoured life
Good health, many children, long days
A strong, mindful, caring wife
And hope for happiness always
