Marre [English translation]

Yll:

For us to separate it's [how] foolish, foolish, foolish!

Making me suffer is foolish, foolish, foolish!

Elvana:

To tell you this I didn't have a way1,

I do everything for you,

And I have2 no shame, shame, shame!

Elvana:

For us to separate it's [how] foolish, foolish, foolish!

Yll:

Making me suffer is foolish, foolish, foolish!

Elvana:

To tell you this I didn't have a way,

I do everything for you,

And I have2 no shame, shame, shame!

Yll:

I know everything,

I found out everything3,

I know what you have for a heart4

I won't trust anyone like you

Elvana:

I can't bear [it]

Nor do I want to think

Of you not being with me

Now I know it, now I know it,

You were everything, you were

And you play, play, play,

Just don't play with my heart

I have cared cause I have cared,

But do I have to play5 if you deceive me?

Both:

For us to separate it's [how] foolish, foolish, foolish!

Making me suffer is foolish, foolish, foolish!

Elvana:

To tell you this I didn't have a way,

Both:

I do everything for you,

And I have2 no shame, shame, shame!

Yll:

Let them talk, let them talk who is caring6

They don't have love

And even to your nail, no, no, they don't come

We do everything for love

Elvana:

And you play, play, play,

Just don't play with my heart

I have cared cause I have cared,

But do I have to play5 if you deceive me?

Both:

For us to separate it's [how] foolish, foolish, foolish!

Making me suffer is foolish, foolish, foolish!

Elvana:

To tell you this I didn't have a way,

Both:

I do everything for you,

And I have2 no shame, shame, shame!

1. Should be çare2. a. b. c. d. Lit. "to me there comes".3. Lit. "I have taken ear to everything".4. I suppose that "zemre" is a dative, hence my translation. Could otherwise be "What [kind] of heart", with zemre in the genitive.5. a. b. I assume this is supposed to be a question. The text is supposed to be «kom me lujt'», hence my translation. Weird that there is no "a" to mark the question as such. Could be a short form of "kom me lujt' mendsh", "I will go crazy".6. Should be p'ia nin.
