A pickaxe doesn't fall to the shell of the ground at this time of the year

To the bone garden the coffin of a freshly deceased is brought to wait

To the bosom of the earth they'll get when the hay of May rise*

The rimed, cold stone walls are left behind

Out of the bone garden, to the bosom of the earth should (we or s/he) get

The coffins open, the cadaver folk awake

But they're not guessing that they're deceased

From the rest of the bone garden, after the best life

The crowd is coming to bring the fear of death

Everyone's leaving to their homes without remembering the past

After getting to their yards the loved one's don't accept them

Break from their sadness when they find their karsikkolauta*

Black flames are igniting in their hearts and showing their anger
